shortstraw. is a female punk/rap hybrid artist from Coventry bringing nothing but energy, attitude and British grit to the stage. After her first live set being a BBC Radio 6 Live Lounge and first ever gig supporting SOFT PLAY (formerly known as slaves) in November 2023, shortstraw. is coming onto the scene fast.
With no music manager and all of her releases being recorded in a shed and produced by her drummer, it is all about that DIY vibe. Her lyrics mostly come from growing up in Britain so there is 100% something to relate to and laugh about.
