Restaurateur and chef Robin Gill along with his wife, Sarah Gill, is the founder of the hospitality group, Gill Soul Co, a portfolio of restaurants located across the UK’s capital. Gill Soul Co. currently comprises of a selection of sites each with their own unique identity, Clapham Italian restaurant Sorella, Darby’s, an oyster bar, bakery and grill in Nine Elms, Rye by the Water, a bakery in Brentford, Bottle & Rye in Brixton which pays homage to the all-day bistros of Paris, Ruben’s Reubens a Brixton BBQ residency and Birch, a lifestyle hotel in Hertfordshire where all the food and drink is led by the terroir, farm and kitchen garden on their doorstep.
Away from the restaurants,2017 saw Robin as a judge on MasterChef Ireland. He had also appeared on Saturday Kitchen Live.
Robin’s first book, Larder, was published in 2018. He has undertaken multiple treks with the hospitality team for Action Against Hunger and works on initiatives in his restaurants to raise funds for this amazing charity.
